77 that the bearer hereof a negro woman named Viney aged about thirty years about four feet nine inches high of a brown complexion with a small scar upon the right arm just above the elbow is the same person manumitted by Nicholas I. Watkins by deed dated this seventh day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixteen and that the said negro woman Viney was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 7.th day of March 1816 State of Maryland Anne Arundel County Sc. I hereby certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro woman named Harriett aged about twenty three years about five feet four inches high of a brown complexion long straight black hair is the same person manumitted by John Thomas by deed dated the seventh day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and four and that the said negro woman Harriett was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 11.th day of March 1816 State of Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit I hereby certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro man named Charles Barnes aged about twenty one years about five feet six Inches high of a black complexion and has no perceptible mark |
