State of Maryland Anne Arundel County sc.
        I hereby certify to all whom it doth or may
concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction
that the bearer hereof a negro man named Joshua aged
about forty one years about five feet five and an half
Inches high of a very black complexion has a small
scar over the right Eye is the same person manumitted
by Philip W Thomas by and dated the twelfth day of
march in the year one thousand Eight hundred and sixteen
and that the said negro man named Joshua was raised
in Prince Georges County
       Issued the 1.st day of April 1816


State of Maryland Anne Arundel County sc  I hereby
certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it
hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer
hereof a yellow man named Jacob Oliver aged about
twenty four years about five feet Eleven and an
half Inches high bright complexion with the little
finger of the both hands crooked and stiff in the middle
Jacob is the same person manumitted by Elizabeth
Oliver by deed dated the seventeenth day of November
in the year Eighteen hundred and six, that his freedom
commenced on the seventeenth day of November in the
year Eighteen hundred and twelve; and that the said
Jacob Oliver was raised in the County aforesaid
             Issued the 13th day of April 1816

        I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or may
concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction
that the bearer hereof a negro woman named Poll
aged about twenty Eight years about five feet two
and an half Inches high of a dark Complexion
with a scar upon the left arm is the same person
manumitted by Samuel Peaco by deed dated the
third day of August one thousand seven hundred
and ninety Eight that her freedom commenced on
