76 State of Maryland Anne Arundel County Sc I hereby certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro man named John aged about twenty eight years about five feet eleven inches high of a brown complexion no perceptible mark is the same person manumitted by Charles Pettibone by deed dated the twenty sixth day of January one thousand eight hundred and five that his freedom commenced on the twenty fifth day of December one thousand eight hundred and fifteen and that the said negro man named John was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 23d day of February 1816 State of Maryland Anne Arundel County Sc I hereby certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a mulatto man named William Tinges aged about twenty nine years and six months about five feet eight inches high very bright complexion with a small scar upon the upper lip and straight black hair is the same person manumitted by John Claude Dennis Claude and Abram Claude by deed dated the eighth day of September eighteen hundred and thirteen and that the said William Tinges was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 1.st day of March 1816 State of Maryland Anne Arundel County Sc. I hereby certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction |
