State of Maryland Anne Arundel County Sct
        I hereby certify to all whom it doth or may
concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction
that the bearer hereof a negro man named George
Martin Jun.r about thirty one years of age about
five feet ten and an half inches high of a brown
complexion with a scar upon the first joint of
the middle finger of the right hand and other
upon the forehead is the same person manumitted
by Seth Sweetser by deed dated the twenty eighth day
of April eighteen hundred and six and that his
freedom commenced on the twentieth day of March
in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and fifteen and that the said George Martin Jun.r
was raised in the County aforesaid
Issued the 20.th day of March 1815



Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit: 
        I hereby certify to all whom it doth or
may concern that it hath been proved to my

named Dick (commonly called Duck Mullen) of
a brown complexion aged about forty one years
about five feet eleven inches and an half high
and has a scar upon the left foot just above
the little toe is the same person manumitted
by Nicholas Norman by deed dated the twelfth
day of October in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred and ten and that the
said Dick of Dick Mullen) was raised in the
County aforesaid
Issued the 28.th day of March 1815
