50 Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit: I hereby certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro man named Isaac of a dark complexion aged about twenty six years about five feet six inches and an half high and a scar upon the inner side of the left wrist is the same person manumitted by Thomas Norman by deed dated the twenty fourth day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety, and that the said negro man named Isaac was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 28.th day of March 1815 State of Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit: I hereby certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro man named Handy (commonly called Handy McCrome') aged about forty three years about five feet seven and three quarters Inches high of a dark complexion, a small scar upon the right side of the chin, and a little marked in the face by the small pox, is the same person manumitted by William Alexander by deed dated the twenty seventh day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and fifteen; and that the said negro man named Handy was raised in the State of Virginia Issued the 28th day of March 1815 Maryland Anne Arundel County Sc.
