46 Maryland Anne Arundel County Sct I hereby certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro man named Thomas alias Saucy aged about twenty eight years about five feet five inches high of a yellow complexion with straight black hair is the same person manumitted by Sarah Riggs by deed dated the eighteenth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fourteen and that the said negro man was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 5.th day of July 1814 State of Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit I hereby certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro woman named Henny Davis aged about forty six years about five feet six inches high of a brown complexion with a scar upon the left cheek bone near the corner of the eye is the same person manumitted by John Hesselms by deed dated the fifteenth day of January in the year one thousand eight hundred that her freedom commenced on the fifteenth day of January in the year one thousand eight hundred and twelve and that the said woman named Henny Davis was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the sixth day of July 1814 |
