inches high of a brown complexion was free
born and that the said Mary Ann Queen
was raised in the County aforesaid
Issued the 22.d day of June 1814



State of Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit: 
        I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or may
concern that it hath been proved to my
satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro woman
named Nell aged about Eighteen years about
five feet five inches high of a brown complexion
with a small scar upon the breast is the same
person manumitted by Susanna Lane by deed
dated the twenty Eighth day of June in the year
of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and
fourteen; and that the said negro woman named
Nell was raised in the County aforesaid
       Issued the 28th day of June 1814


Maryland Anne Arundel County Sct  I hereby
certify to all whom it doth or may concern that
it hath been proved to my satisfaction that
the bearer hereof a negro woman named
Jenny aged about thirty years about five feet
two inches high of a brown complexion with
a small scar between the eyes is the same
person manumitted by John and Lucy
Smith by deed dated the twenty seventh day
of June in the year of our Lord one thousand
eight hundred and fourteen and that the
said negro woman Jenny was raised in
the County aforesaid
Issued the 1st day of July 1814
