44 that the bearer hereof a negro woman named Affy about thirty eight years of age of a brown complexion about five feet three inches high with several scars on both arms is the same person manumitted by Johns Hopkins by deed dated the twenty first day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and seventy eight and that her freedom commenced at the age of twenty one years and that the said negro woman Affy was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 8.th day of June 1814 Maryland Anne Arundel County Sc.t I hereby certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro man named Hector aged about twenty five years about five feet seven inches high of a dark complexion with a scar upon the left arm and one on the right shin was free born and that the said negro man Hector was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 21.st day of June 1814 Maryland Anne Arundel County Sct I hereby certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro woman named Mary Ann Queen aged about fifteen years about five feet five |
