43 day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and thirteen, and that the said negro woman named Patience was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 20th day of May 1814 Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit I hereby certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro woman named Peggy Folks aged about twenty years about five feet four Inches high of a yellowish Complexion with a small scar upon the left and was free born; and that the said negro woman named Peggy Folks was raised in Anne Arundel County Issued the 6th day of June 1814 Maryland Anne Arundel County sc.t I hereby certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro woman named Bet about twenty two years of age of a dark complexion about five feet five inches high is the same person manumitted by Jeremiah Hughes by deed dated the tenth day of June in the year eighteen hundred and eleven and that the said negro woman Bet was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 6th day of June 1814 Maryland Anne Arundel County Sc. I hereby certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction |
