42 about five feet five and an half inches high of a black complexion with a small scar upon the left cheek was free born and that the said Thomas Sparrow was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 27.th day of April 1814 Maryland Anne Arundel County Sct I hereby certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro woman named Sall aged about five feet one and an half inches high with two small scars upon her right cheek and lame in the right hip is the same person manumitted by Susanna Lane by deed dated the second day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fourteen and that the said negro woman Sall was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 2d day of May 1814 Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit: I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro named Patience aged about twenty three years about five feet high of a brown complexion with a scar upon the left shoulder is the same person manumitted by Joseph Selby by deed dated the fifth day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety two that her freedom commenced on the twenty fifth |
