41 Maryland Anne Arundel County Sct I hereby certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro man named Jery about twenty seven years of age of a brown complexion about five feet nine inches high is the same person manumitted by Thomas Norman by deed dated the twenty fourth day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety and that the said negro man Jery was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 19.th day of April 1814 Maryland Anne Arundel County Sct I hereby certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro man named Peter Boston aged about twenty three years about five feet seven and an half inches high of a dark complexion with a scar upon the left shin was free born and that the said Peter Boston was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 20.th day of April 1814 Maryland Anne Arundel County Sct I hereby certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro man named Thomas Sparrow about twenty years of age |
