40 small scar upon the right side of the face is the same person manumitted by Joseph Cowman by deed dated the twenty second day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Eighty two, and that her freedom commenced in the seventh of March one thousand seven hundred and ninety four; and that the said negro woman named Susannah Parker was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 6th day of April 1814 State of Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit I hereby certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro woman named Mint aged about forty years about five feet one Inch and a half high of a brown complexion, no perceptible mark is the same person manumitted by John O L Jones by deed dated the twenty third day of September in the year one thousand Eight hundred and five that her freedom commenced in January one thousand Eight hundred and nine, and that the said negro woman named Mint was raised in Prince Georges County Issued the 6.th day of April 1814 State of Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit: I hereby certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro woman named Rose aged about forty years about five feet three Inches high of a dark complexion is the same person manumitted by Richard G Hutton by deed dated the first day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and fourteen; and that the said negro woman named Rose was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 7th day of April 1814 |
