36 Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit I hereby certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro man named Phil of a dark complexion about five feet four and an half inches high, no perceptible mark; and aged about twenty four years, is the same person manumitted by Daniel of S.t Thomas Jenifer by deed bearing date the fourteenth day of April in the year one thousand seven hundred and ninety, and that the same negro man Phil was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 30th day of September 1813 Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit: I hereby certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro woman named Rachel Harris aged about twenty seven years of a dark complexion no perceptible mark and about five feet three inches high is the same person manumitted by Robert Wallace by deed bearing date the fourth day of April in the year one thousand Eight hundred and four, and that the said negro woman named Rachel Harris was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 2d day of November 1813 Maryland Anne Arundel County sc. I hereby certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a woman named Rose Dorsey of a yellow complexion aged about forty years about five feet three inches high with a scar upon the back of the right hand is the same person named in a deed of manumission executed by Samuel Peaco on the third day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety eight and that her freedom commenced on the twenty fifth day of July one thousand eight hundred and two and that the said woman Rose Dorsey |
