Anne Arundel County Court Certificates of Freedom, 1810-1831

proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof
named Elizabeth Gaither aged about twenty years
about five feet two inches high, brown complexion
has a large scar over the right side of the neck and
one near the corner of the left Eye, was free born
and that she was raised in the County aforesaid
    Issued the 23rd day of May 1831



    Maryland, Anne Arundel County, to wit:
              I William S Green, Clerk of Anne Arundel
County Court do hereby Certify, that it hath
been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer
hereof named Mary Gaither aged about sixteen
years about five feet two inches high, brown
complexion, has no perceptible mark, was free
born, and that she was raised in the County
aforesaid
    Issued the 23rd day of May 1831



    Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit:
              I William S Green, Clerk of Anne Arundel
County Court do hereby Certify, that it hath been
proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof
named Samuel Gaither aged about twenty two
years, about five feet seven inches high, brown
complexion, has no perceptible mark, was free
born, and that he was raised in the County aforesaid
    Issued the 23d day of May 1831


    Maryland, Anne Arundel County to wit:
          I William S Green, Clerk of Anne Arundel
                                                                   County
