Anne Arundel County Court Certificates of Freedom, 1810-1831

County Court do hereby Certify, that it hath
been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer
hereof named Sarah Gaither, aged about nineteen
two years about five feet six inches high brown
complexion has no perceptible mark, was free
born, and that he was raised in the County
aforesaid
    Issued the 23d day of May 1831


    Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit:
              I William S Green, Clerk of Anne
Arundel County Court do hereby Certify that
it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the
bearer hereof named Jeremiah Gaither, aged
about twenty four years about five feet six
and a quarter inches high, brown complexion,
has a small scar in the right corner of the
mouth and one under the right Jaw bone,
was free born and that he was raised in the
County aforesaid
    Issued the 23d day of May 1831



    Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit:
              I William S Green, Clerk of Anne
Arundel County Court do hereby certify that
it hath been proved to my satisfaction that
the bearer hereof named Martha Ann
Williams aged about twenty one years, about
five high, bright complexion, has a small
