Anne Arundel County Court Certificates of Freedom, 1810-1831

    Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit:
              I William S Green Clerk of Anne Arundel County
Court do hereby Certify, that it hath been proved to my
satisfaction that the bearer hereof named John Queen
aged about twenty years about five feet eight and an
half Inches high dark complexion has a scar in the
forehead was free born and that she was raised in
the County aforesaid
    Issued the 21st day of September 1829


    Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit:
              I William S Green Clerk of Anne Arundel
County Court do hereby Certify, that it hath been
proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof named
Sarah Queen aged about thirteen years about five feet
one inch high dark complexion has no perceptible
mark was free born and that she was raised in the
County aforesaid
    Issued the 21st day of September 1829


    Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit:
              I William S Green Clerk of Anne Arundel
County Court do hereby Certify, that it hath been
proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof named
Charles Stewart aged about Thirty six years about
five feet seven Inches high yellow complexion
has a scar on the right wrist is the Identical person
manumitted by Catharine Kelly by deed dated the
sixth day of February in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred and twenty nine and that he
was raised in the County aforesaid
    Issued the 2nd day of October 1829
