Anne Arundel County Court Certificates of Freedom, 1810-1831

    Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit
              I hereby William S Green Clerk of Anne Arundel
County Court do hereby Certify, that it hath been proved
to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof named Joseph
Parker aged about Twenty one years about five feet
seven and an half inches high black complexion has a
scar over the left Eye and another near the left nostril
was free born, and that she was raised in the County
aforesaid
    Issued the 9th day of July 1829

    Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit
              I William S Green Clerk of Anne Arundel County
Court do hereby Certify, that it hath been proved to my
satisfaction that the bearer hereof named Charles William
Willigman aged about Twenty two years about five
feet seven inches high, light complexion, has a small
scar on the back of the right hand is the identical
person manumitted by Thomas Harris by deed dated
the twenty sixth day of December in the year of our Lord
one thousand Eight hundred and twenty one
    Issued the 11th day of July 1829


    Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit
              I William S Green Clerk of Anne Arundel County
Court do hereby Certify, that it hath been proved to my
satisfaction that the bearer hereof named Henny Key
aged about Seventeen years about four feet ten and an
half Inches high black complexion has a scar on the
left arm, was free born and that she was raised in the
County aforesaid
    Issued the 19th day of August 18129
