28 Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit: I hereby certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro man named Charles Turner aged about twenty one years about five feet nine and three quarters inches high of a light complexion with a small scar upon the chin and a small scar upon the thumb of the left hand was free born and that the said Charles Turner was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 30.th day of December 1812 Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit: I Hereby certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a mulatto man named Thomas Burly aged about twenty five years about five feet seven and three quarters inches high of a light complexion was free born and that the said Thomas Burly was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 31.st day of December 1812 Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit: I Hereby certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a mulatto man named John aged about twenty two years about five feet ten and an half inches high with a scar upon the inner side of the left leg just above the ancle is the same person manumitted by Susanna Lane by deed dated the eighth day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirteen and that the said mulatto man John was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 8th day of January 1813 |
