Anne Arundel County to wit:  I hereby Certify to all
whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to
my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro man
named Toby Parker aged about fifty years about five
feet ten Inches high of a brown complexion, with a
scar upon the left wrist was free born; and that the
said Toby Parker was raised in the County aforesaid
       Issued the 29th day of Oct.r 1812



Maryland, Anne Arundel County to wit:  I hereby Certify to
all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved
to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro man
named William aged about thirty years of a dark
complexion about five feet three inches high with a
large scar over the forehead and another small scar across
the nose, is the same person manumitted by Jerningham
Drury by deed dated the ninth day of November in the
year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and five
and that his freedom commenced on the twenty fifth day
of December in the year Eighteen hundred and ten,
and that the said negro man named William was
raised in the County aforesaid
          Issued the 13th day of November 1812



Maryland Anne Arundel County sc.  I Hereby certify
to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath
been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof
a negro man named Stephen of a dark complexion
about five feet four and a half inches high with a
scar upon his upper lip aged about twenty five
years is the same person named in a deed of
manumission executed by Joseph Selby on the fifth
day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand
seven hundred and ninety two and that his freedom
commenced on the twenty fifth day of December one
thousand eight hundred and twelve and that the said
negro man Stephen was raised in the County aforesaid
Issued the 25.th day of December 1812

This certificate having been proved to
have been lost a dup.l issued as in page 71.
