Anne Arundel County Court Certificates of Freedom, 1810-1831

    Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit
              I hereby Certify to all whom it doth
or may concern that it hath been proved to my
satisfaction that the bearer hereof named
Charlotte Bond aged about Thirty years about
five feet one and an half Inch high brown
Complexion has a scar in the forehead one on
the nose between the eyes and on on the
left cheek was free born and raised in the
County aforesaid
    Issued the 7 day of april 1827

    Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit
              I hereby Certify to all whom it doth
or may concern that it hath been proved
to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof
named Sarah Watkins aged about thirty
three years about five feet two Inches
high, brown Complexion, has a scar
on the left hand, and one other on the right
hand occasioned by a burn, was free
born and raised in the County aforesaid
    Issued the 11th day of April 1827


    Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit
              I hereby Certify to all whom it
doth or may concern that it hath been proved
to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof
named Nancy Smith aged about forty
two years about five feet high yellow
                                        Complexion
