Anne Arundel County Court Certificates of Freedom, 1810-1831

Complexion several small moles in the face is one
of the persons manumitted by Jubb Fowler by
deed dated the Eighteenth day of november in the
year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred
and fifteen, and that she was raised in the
County aforesaid
    Issued the 13th day of April 1827


    Maryland, Anne Arundel County to wit
              I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or
may concern that it hath been proved to my
satisfaction that the bearer hereof named Nancy
Brown aged about thirty Eight years about
five feet four and an half Inches high
black Complexion and has lost two of her
upper fore teeth was free born and raised in
the County aforesaid
    Issued the 14th day of April 1827


    Maryland, Anne Arundel County to wit
              I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or
may Concern that it hath been proved to my
satisfaction that the bearer hereof named Silvia
Brown aged about twenty seven years about five
feet three Inches high dark Complexion has a
scar on the right side of the neck, was free born
and raised in the County aforesaid
    Issued the 14th day of april 1827


    Maryland, Anne Arundel County to wit
              I hereby Certify to all whom it doth
