Anne Arundel County Court Certificates of Freedom, 1810-1831

    Maryland, Anne Arundel County to wit
             I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or
may concern that it hath been proved to my
satisfaction that the bearer hereof named
Homney E Brown aged about seventeen years
about five feet one and an half Inch high
black Complexion the right hand deformed
was free born and raised in the County
aforesaid
    Issued the 2d day of April 1827


    Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit
              I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or
may Concern that it hath been proved to my
satisfaction that the bearer hereof named Nancy
Waims aged about thirty Eight years about
five feet one Inch high very light Complexion
long straight hair was free born and raised
in the County aforesaid
    Issued the 4th day of April 1827


    Maryland, Anne Arundel County to wit
              I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or
may Concern that it hath been proved to my
satisfaction that the bearer hereof named William
Brashears aged about Twenty Eight years, about
five feet seven Inches high a small scar
over the Corner of the left eye, and two small
scars on the left side of the face was free born
and raised in the County aforesaid
    Issued the 9th day of January 1826
