Anne Arundel County Court Certificates of Freedom, 1810-1831

    Maryland, Anne Arundel County to wit  I hereby
Certify to all whom it doth or may Concern that
it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the
bearer hereof named Sarah Toppin aged about
twenty nine years about five feet five and an
half Inches high black Complexion has a scar
on the back of each hand was free born and
raised in the County aforesaid
    Issued the 22d day of August 1826


    Maryland, Anne Arundel County to wit
              I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or
may concern that it hath been proved to my
satisfaction that the bearer hereof named
James Johnson aged about twenty one years
about five feet five and an half Inches high
dark Complexion, has a small scar upon each
of his hand was free born and raised in the
County aforesaid
    Issued the 26th day of August 1826


    State of Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit
              I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or may
concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction
that the bearer hereof named Acksah Badger aged
about thirty six years about five feet two Inches
high black Complexion a small scar in the right
eye brow and another on the left wrist was free
born and raised in the County aforesaid
    Issued the 28th day of August 1826


    State of Maryland, Anne Arundel County to wit
              I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or
