five years about five feet Eight and an half Inches high black complexion, a small scar on the left cheek was free born and raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 13th day of march 1824 Maryland, Anne Arundel County to wit I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro man named Michael Queen aged about twenty two years about five feet three Inches high brown Complexion a small scar on the left wrist was free born, and raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 17th day of march 1824 Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit I hereby certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof named Charles Philips aged about thirty six years about five feet ten inches high dark Complexion a scar upon the left cheek and near the ear and another behind the left ear is the Identical person manumitted by Henry Duvall by deed dated the Eighteenth day of may 1807 that his freedom commenced on the first day of January Eighteen hundred and twenty four and that he was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 19 day of march 1824 |
