20 a brownish complexion with a large scar upon the left side of the head is the same person manumitted by John Chew Thomas by deed dated the third day of February in the year one thousand eight hundred and ten and that his freedom commenced on the first day of January in the year eighteen hundred and twelve and that the said negro man Frank was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 14th day of April 1812. Anne Arundel County to sc. I hereby Certify that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro man named Charles Parker aged about twenty three years a black complexion about five feet six and an half Inches high, with a small scar over the right eye was free born and that the said Charles Parker was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 20th day of April 1812 Maryland, Anne Arundel County to wit I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro man named Jacob aged about thirty seven years of a black Complexion about five feet eight Inches high, with a small scar upon the right cheek is the same person manumitted by Susanna Lane by deed dated the twenty third of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twelve, and that the said Negro man Jacob was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 23 day of April 1812 |
