State of Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit
                    I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or
may concern that it hath been proved to my
satisfaction that the bearer hereof a mulatto man
named James Turner aged about twenty two years
about six feet one Inch high yellow Complexion
with a small scar upon the right side of the
forehead was free born; and raised in the County
aforesaid
            Issued the 22d day of May 1818


Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit:  I hereby
Certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it
hath been proved to my satisfaction that the
bearer hereof a negro man named George Brown
aged about thirty five years about six feet one
Inch high dark Complexion a small scar upon
the left side of the face and flat nose is the
Indentical person manumitted by George Barber
and John T Barber by deed dated the twenty
fifth day of May in the year of our Lord one
thousand Eight hundred and Eighteen; and that
the said George Brown was raised on the Eastern
Shore of Maryland
            Issued the 25th day of May 1818


    Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit:  I hereby Certify
to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been
proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro
woman named Kitty Lee aged about fourteen years about
five feet two Inches high black complexion has two small
scars upon the inside of the right wrist was free born;
and that the said negro woman named Kitty Lee Milly was raised
in the County aforesaid        Issued the 25th day of May 1818
