117 Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a mulatto woman named Fanny Davis aged about thirty five years about five feet two and and an half Inches high bright Complexion with a small scar upon the left arm is the same person manumitted by Bennett Harrison by deed dated the twenty fourth day of March eighteen hundred and fifteen and that the said Fanny Davis was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 26th day of May 1818 State of Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro man named Benjamin Ennis aged about twenty two years about five feet Eleven high dark complexion and a small scar on the forehead was free born; and that the said negro man was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 17th day of June 1818 Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit: I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro man named Ephraim Brown aged about twenty five years about five feet Eight and an half Inches high Black complexion with a large scar on the right arm near the Elbow, one small scar over the left eye and one on the left side of the head was free born; and that the said negro man named Ephraim Brown was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 22d day of June 1818 |
