I Thomas T. Simmons Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County do
hereby certify and Attest that it appears from the last Will and Testament of
John Linsted late of Anne the County aforesaid deceased that he did by his said Will
Manumit Liberate and Set free a Negro man by the name of Jack Barton and
it being proved to my satisfaction that he is the Identical person as freed by said
Will I do hereby Certify that he is in height five feet Seven inches is about the
age of Forty five years black Complexion and was freed by the last Will and
Testament of the said John Linsted dated on the second day of December Eighteen
hundred and Seventeen was raised in Anne Arundel County and has no perceivable mark
                                In Testimony Whereof I have hereto set my hand and
            (Seal)           affixed the seal of my office this First day of May in the year
                                of our Lord Eighteen hundred and Thirty

I Thomas T Simmons Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County do hereby Certify and
Attest That it Appears from the last will and testament of Hester Hood late
of Anne Arundel County aforesaid Deceased That she did by her said Will
Manumit liberate and Set Free a Negro Man by the name of Osborne
and it being Proved to my satisfaction That he is the Identical person as
freed by said Will I do Certify That he is in height five feet eight Inches
is about the age of twenty eight years light Complexion and was freed by the
last Will and testament of the said Hester Hood on the sixth day of
April eighteen Hundred and twenty six was raised in Anne Arundel
County and has a scar over the Right Eye his little finger on the left
hand Crooked and a scar on his middle finger of the same hand
            In testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand and affixed the
seal of my Office this thirteenth day of May in the year of Our Lord
eighteen Hundred and Thirty

set free a negro man by the name of Isaac and it being proved to
my satisfaction that he is the identical person as freed by said
Will I do certify that he is in height Five feet seven and one fourth
inches; is about the age of Thirty seven years dark complexion and
was freed by the last Will and Testament of the said Hester
Hood on the sixth day of April Eighteen hundred and Twenty
six was raised in Anne Arundel County and has a small scar
