hundred and Twenty two was raised in Anne Arundel County
and has a scar on the back of his right hand
    In Testimony Whereof I have hereto set my hand and
                        affixed the Seal of my office this Eleventh
                        day of February in the year of our Lord

I Thomas T. Simmons Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County
do hereby Certify and Attest that it appears from the last Will and Testament
of Zachariah Pumphrey late of Anne the county aforesaid, deceased, that
he did by his last Will Manumit Liberate and set free a negro man
by the name of Thomas and it being proved to my satisfaction that he is
the Identical person as freed by said Will I do Certify that he is in height
five feet five inches is about the age of Twenty five years light complexion
and was freed by the last Will and Testament of the said Zachariah Pumphrey
on the tenth day of October Eighteen hundred and six was raised in Anne
Arundel County and has not particular scar or mark on his person
                                    In Testimony Whereof I have hereto set my hand
        (Seal)                   and affixed the seal of my office this 17th day of August
                                    in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and Twenty
                                    nine

I Thomas T. Simmons Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County do
hereby Certify and Attest that it appears from the last Will and Testament of
samuel W. Clagett late of the County aforesaid deceased that he did by his
said will Manumit Liberate and set free a negro Boy by the name of John
and it being proved to my satisfaction that he is the Identical person as freed
by said Will I do certify that he is in height five feet five and an half
Inches is about the age of Twenty years very bright complexion and was
freed by the last Will and Testament of the said Samuel W. Clagett on
the Twenty first day of July Eighteen hundred and Fifteen was raised
in Anne Arundel County and has a scar on the left knee and is very much
freckled
                            In Testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand
                            and affixed the seal of my office this Twenty third day
        (Seal)           of April in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred
                            and Thirty
