    I Thomas T Simmons Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County do
hereby certify and Attest that it appears from the last Will and Testament
of Zachariah Pumphrey late of the County aforesaid deceased that he did by
his said Will Manumit Liberate and Set Free a negro man by the name of
Ephraim and it being proved to my Satisfaction that he is the identical person as
freed by said Will, I do certify, that he is in height Five feet Eight & a quarter
inches, is about the age of Twenty nine years Dark complexion and was freed
by the last Will and Testament of the said Zachariah Pumphrey on the
Tenth day of October Eighteen hundred and six, was raised in Anne Arundel
County and has a scar between his fore and middle finger
            In Testimony Whereof I have hereto set my hand and affixed the
                (Seal)    seal of my office this 17th day of August in the year of
                                our Lord Eighteen Hundred and Twenty Nine

I Thomas T Simmons Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County
do hereby Certify and attest that it appears from the last will and
Testament of John W Beard late of the County aforesaid deceased
that he did by his Said will did manumit Liberate and set free
a negro man by the name of Charles and it being proved to my
Satisfaction that he is the Identical person as freed by said will
I do Certify that he is in height five feet and five inches is about the
age of thirty three dark Complexion and was freed by the last will
and Testament of the said John W Beard on the Sixth day of
October Eighteen hundred and twenty five was raised in Anne Arundel
County and has a scar on his left leg
            In Testimony whereof I have hereto Set my hand
                and affixed the seal of my office this thirty first
    (Seal)   day of December in the year of our Lord Eighteen
                hundred and twenty nine

County do hereby Certify and Attest that it appears from the
last Will and Testament of Eleanor Childs late of ^the^ County aforesaid
deceased that she did by her said Will Manumit liberate
and set free a negro man by the name of Charles Hanson
and it being proved to my satisfaction that he is the identical
person as freed by said Will I do Certify that he is in height five
feet Eight & half inches is about the age of Thirty Eight years
light Complexion and was freed by the last Will and Testament
of the said Eleanor Childs on the Eighth day of June Eighteen
