I Thomas T Simmons Register of Wills for Anne
Arundel County do hereby certify and attest that it appears
from the last will and Testament of Thomas Woodfield late
of the County aforesaid deceased that he did by his said
will manumit liberate and set free a negro woman by the
name of Sall and it being proved to my satisfaction that she
is the identical person as freed by said will I do certify that
she is in height four feet Eleven & a quarter inches is about the
age of Thirty five dark complexion and was freed by the
last will and testament of the said Thomas Woodfield on the
Twelfth day of November eighteen hundred and thirteen was
raised in Anne Arundel County and has no particular marks
on her person      In Testimony whereof I have hereto set
                        my hand and affixed the seal of my Office this
        (seal)        Tenth day of July in the year of Our Lord
                         eighteen hundred and Twenty nine

I Thomas T Simmons Register of Wills for Anne Arundel
County do hereby certify and attest that it appears from the last
will and Testament of Elizabeth Battee late of the County aforesaid
deceased that she did by his said will manumit liberate and set
free negro woman by the name of Jenny and it being proved to my
satisfaction that she is the identical person as freed by said will
I do Certify that he is in height five feet five and an half
Inches is about the age of Twenty four years light Complexion and
was freed by the last will and testament of Elizabeth Battee on
the 14th day of march Eighteen hundred and Twenty two was
raised in Anne Arundel County and has no perceptible marks
            In testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand and affixed
                                the seal of my office this 21st day of September in
                (seal)        the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and twenty nine
                                           Thomas T. Simmons Reg wills A A Coty
