Last Will and testament of Frances Bowden dated 1
August 1843 has a mark on the left wrist

        I Benjamin  E Gantt Register Wills for Anne
Arundel County do hereby certify and attest that it
appears from the last will and testament of Joseph
G Harrison late of the county aforesaid decesed
that he did by his said will Manumit Liberate
and set free a negro Girl by the name of Nancy
Brown and it being proved to my satisfaction
that the bearer hereof is the identical person as
freed by said Will  I do Certify that She is in
height five feet Two & Three quarter inches about
the age of Twenty five years Dark Complexion
and was freed by the last will and testament
of Joseph G Harrison dated 2nd November 1844
has a Large mark on her Chin
                             Issued 2n September 1851

        I Benja  E Gantt Register Wills for Anne Arundel
County do hereby certify and attest that it appears
from the last will and testament of Rezin Hammond
son of Phil late of said County deceased that he did by
his said Will manumit Liberate and set free a negro
Boy by the name of Levi Garret and it being proved
to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof is the
Identical person as Freed by said Will  I do Certify
that he is in height 5 feet 5½ Inches Light Complexion
and was freed by the Last Will and testament of the
said Rezin Hammond son of Phil dated 10 July 1808
was raised in A A Cty has a mark on the left
cheek and also one on the left fore arm
                            Issued 16 September 1851
                            Benja E Gantt Rgr Wills A A Cty
