of Forty years, light complexion, and was Freed by the last Will and
Testament of the said Robert H Mcpherson dated the Second day of
January Eighteen hundred and Thirty Four was Raised in Anne
Arundel County and has a Small Scar on the left side of his Face
                            Issued the 7th day of January 1840
                                                           Sam.l Brown Jun Reg Wills A A County



            I Samuel Brown Jn.r Register of Wills for Anne Arundel
County do hereby certify and attest that it appears from the last Will
and Testament of Ephraim Duvall late of Anne Arundel County aforesaid
deceased that he did by said Will, Manumit, Liberate and set free,
a negro Boy by the name of Lewis Edwards and it being proved to my
satisfaction that the Barer hereof is the Identical person as freed by
said Will  I do certify that he is in height five feet Two & ¼ Inches
is about the age of Thirty one years, Dark Complexion, and was freed
by the last Will and Testament of the said Ephraim Duvall dated
Twentieth day of March Eighteen hundred and Seven was raised in
Anne Arundel County and has a scar on the left wrist
                            Issued the 10th day of March 1840

County do hereby Certify and attest that it appears from the last
Will and Testament of Ephraim Duvall late of Anne Arundel
County aforesaid deceased that he did by said Will Manumit Liberate
and set Free, a Negro Boy by the name of William Edwards and
it being proved to my satisfaction that the barer hereof is the
Identical person as Freed by said Will  I do certify that he is
in height five feet Two 5/8 Inches, is about the age of Thirty one
years, dark Complexion, and was freed by the last Will and
Testament of Ephraim Duvall dated the Twentieth day of March
Eighteen hundred and Seven was Raised in Anne Arundel
County and has a scar on the right breast
                                Issued the 10 day of March 1840
                                                   Sam.l Brown Jun Reg Wills A A County

County do hereby Certify and attest that it appears from the last Will and
Testament of Elizabeth Welch late of Anne Arundel County deceased that
she did by her said Will, Manumit, Liberate and set free, a Negro Boy
by the name of Charles Creek and it being proved to my satisfaction
that the barer hereof is the Identical person as freed by said Will
I do certify that he is in height five feet Six Inches, is about the
age of Twenty Six years, Dark complexion, and was freed by the last
Will and Testament of said Elizabeth Welch dated the Eighteenth day of
June Eighteen hundred and Twenty four was Raised in Anne Arundel County
and has a scar on his right breast
                    Issued the 21 day of April 1840
