Arundel County do hereby Certify and Attest that it appears from the last Will and Testament of Rezin Hammond late of the County aforesaid deceased that he did by his Said Will Manumit Liberate and Set Free, a negro Boy by the name of Ben Sugars and it being proved to my Satisfaction that the barer hereof is the identical person as Freed by said Will I do certify that he is in height five feet seven & ¾ inches, is about the age of Thirty three years, light Light complexion, and was Freed by the last Will and Testament of the Said Rezin Hammond dated the Tenth day of July Eighteen hundred and Eight was raised in Anne Arundle County and has some small scar on the forehead and some on the left wrist and hand Issued the 30th day of October 1839 Sam.l Brown Jun Reg Wills A A County I Samuel Brown Jun.r Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County do hereby Certify and Attest that it appears from the last Will and Testament of Rezin Hammond late of the County aforesaid deceased that he did by his said Will Manumit Liberate and set Free a Negro Boy by the name of Zachariah Tyler and it being proved to my satisfaction that the barer hereof is the identical person as Freed by said Will I do certify that he is in height five feet Seven Inches, is about the age of Thirty Two years Dark Complexion, and was freed by the last will and Testament of the Said Rezin Hammond dated the Tenth day of July Eighteen hundred and Eight was raised in Anne Arundel County and has a Scar over his left eye Issued the 30th day of October 1839 Saml Brown Jun Reg Wills A A County I Samuel Brown Jun.r Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County do hereby Certify and attest that it appears from the last Will and Testament of Mary Steele late of the county aforesaid deceased that he did by her said Will Manumit Liberate and set free, a Negro Boy by the name of Moses Mowberry and it being proved to my satisfaction that the Barer hereof is the identical person as freed by said Will I do certify that he is in height five feet Three & ¾ Inches, is about the age of forty years, dark Complexion, and was Freed by the last Will and Testament of the said Mary Steele dated the Twenty Seventh day of July Eighteen Hundred and Thirty Six was raised in Dorchester County and has no scars Issued the 11th day of November 1839 Sam.l Brown Jun Reg Wills A A County I Samuel Brown Jun.r Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County do hereby certify and Attest that it appears from the last Will and Testament of Robert H. Mcpherson late of the county aforesaid, deceased, that he did by his said Will, Manumit, Liberate and Set Free, a Negro man by the name of Charles Hubbard and it being proved to my satisfaction that the barer hereof is the Identical person as Freed by said Will. I do Certify that he is in height Five feet two inches, is about the age |
