    I Samuel Brown Jun.r Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County do hereby certify
and attest that it appears from the last Will and Testament of Rezin Hammond late
of the County aforesaid, deceased, that he did by his said Will, manumit, Liberate and set
Free, a negro woman by the name of Mary and it being proved to my satisfaction
that the Bearer hereof is the identical person as Freed by said Will.   I do certify that
she is in height four feet nine & ½ inches, is about the age of thirty three years, Dark
Complexion, and was freed by the last Will and Testament of the said Rezin Hammond dated
the Tenth day of July Eighteen hundred and Eight and was raised in Anne Arundel County
and is defective in her right eye

        I Samuel Brown Jun.r Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County do hereby certify
and attest that it appears from the last Will and Testament of Kitty Talbot late of the
County aforesaid, deceased, that she did by her said Will, Manumit, Liberate and set Free,
a negro woman by the name of Rachel Williams and it being proved to my satisfaction
that the Bearer hereof is the identical person as Freed by said Will.   I do certify that she is
in height five feet two & ½ inches, is about the age of thirty Seven years, Black complexion,
and was Freed by the last Will and Testament of the said Kitty Talbot dated the twenty second
day of April Eighteen hundred and thirty five and was raised in Anne Arundel County and has a scar
on the right arm and one on the right side of her forehead occasioned by a burn
                                                    Issued the 26th day of April 1837

        I Samuel Brown Jun.r Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County do hereby Certify
and attest that it appears from the last Will and Testament of Charles Pettebone late of the
County aforesaid, deceased, that he did by his said Will, Manumit, Liberate and set Free, a negro
boy by the name of Minta Johnson and it being proved to my satisfaction that the
Bearer hereof is the identical person as Freed by said Will.   I do Certify that she is in height
five feet, is about the age of thirty years, dark complexion, and was Freed by the last Will
and Testament of the said Charles Pettebone dated the Tenth day of August Eighteen
hundred and twenty was raised in Anne Arundel County and has no perceptible marks
                                            Issued the 15th day of May 1837

        I Samuel Brown Jun.r Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County do hereby Certify
and attest that it appears from the last Will and Testament of Ruth Davis late of the County
aforesaid, deceased, that se did by her said Will, Manumit, Liberate and set Free, a negro man
by the name of Reuben Purdy and it being proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof
is the identical person as Freed by said Will.   I do certify that he is in height five feet four & ½
inches, is about the age of forty four years, dark complexion, and was freed by the last Will
and Testament of the said Ruth Davis dated the Eighteenth day of March Eighteen hundred
and twenty Eight and was raised in Anne Arundel County and has a large scar over the left eye
                                                    Issued the 29th day of August 1837
                                                           Sam.l Brown Jun. Reg. Wills A. A. County



        I Samuel Brown Jun.r Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County do hereby Certify and attest that it appears
from the last Will and testament of Ruth Davis late of the County aforesaid, deceased, that she did by her said Will,
Manumit, liberate and set Free, a negro man by the name of Lewis Purdy and it being proved to my
satisfaction that the bearer hereof is the identical person as Freed by said Will.   I do Certify that he is
in height five feet six & ½ inches, is about the age of twenty two years, dark Complexion, and
was freed by the last Will and testament of the said Ruth Davis dated the Eighteenth day of March
Eighteen hundred and twenty eight was raised in Anne Arundel County and has a scar on
the left arm
                                                        Issued the 30th day of August 1837
