        I Samuel Brown Jun.r Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County do hereby certify and
attest that it appears from the last Will and Testament of Ruth Davis late of the County aforesaid
deceased, that she did by her said Will, Manumit, Liberate and set Free, a negro man by the name
of Harry Serry and it being proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof is the identical
person as freed by said Will.   I do certify that he is in height five feet six & ½ inches, is
about the age of thirty six years, dark complexion, and was Freed by the last Will and
Testament of the said Ruth Davis dated the Eighteenth day of March Eighteen hundred
and twenty Eight and was raised in Anne Arundel County and has a large scar on his left leg
                                                    Issued the 1st day of September 1837

                I Samuel Brown Jun.r Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County do
do hereby certify and Attest that it appears from the last will and Testament
of Ruth Davis late of the County aforesaid, deceased, that she did by her said
will, manumit liberate and set free, a negro man by the name of Abraham
Serry and it being proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof is the
Identical person as freed by said Will.   I do Certify that he is in height
five feet three inches, is about the age of forty seven years dark complexion
and was freed by the last will and Testament of the said Ruth Davis dated
the Eighteenth day of March Eighteen hundred and Twenty Eight and was raised
in Anne Arundel County and has a scar on the left eye
                                    Issued the 4th day of September 1837

of Ruth Davis late of the County aforesaid, deceased, that she did by her
said will, Manumit, liberate and set free, a negro man by the name of
Phill Purdy and it being proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof
is the identical person as freed by said will.   I do certify that he is in
height five feet Eight inches, is about the age of forty five years dark
complexion, and was freed by the last will and Testament of the said
Ruth Davis dated the Eighteenth day of March eighteen hundred and
twenty Eight and was raised in Anne Arundel County and has no
perceptible marks
                                                    Issued the 4th day of September 1837

do hereby Certify and Attest that it appears from the last will and Testament
of Ruth Davis late of the County aforesaid, deceased, that she did by

of Henry Purdy and it being proved to my satisfaction that the bearer
hereof is the identical person as freed by said will.   I do Certify that
he is in height five feet six and a half inches, is about the age of Twenty
six years, dark complexion, and was freed by the last will and Testament
