was raised in Anne Arundel County
                            In Testimony whereof I have hereunto subscribed my
        (Seal)           name and affixed the Seal of my office this twenty fourth
                            day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand
                            Eight hundred and thirty two
Thomas T. Simmons Reg.r Wills A. A. County


    I Thomas T. Simmons Register of Wills for Anne Arundel
County do hereby Certify and Attest that it appears from the
last Will and Testament of James T. Soper late of the County
aforesaid, deceased, that he did by his said Will manumit Liberate
and set free a negro man by the name of Nick and it being
proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof is the identical
person as Freed by said will  I do Certify That he is in height
five feet five & an half inches, is about the age of forty three years,
Black Complexion, and was Freed by the last will and
Testament of the said James T. Soper dated the seventh day
of September eighteen hundred and twenty five and was raised
in Anne Arundel County
                            In Testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand
        (Seal)           and affixed the Seal of my office this twenty seventh
                            day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand
                            Eight hundred and thirty two

and Testament of Hester Hood late of the County aforesaid, deceased,
that she did by her said will manumit Liberate and set Free a
negro boy by the name of Joshua the son of Cassy and it being
proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof is the identical
person as Freed by said will  I do Certify That he is in height five
feet five inches, is about the age of twenty three years, Black complexion,
and was Freed by the last will and Testament of the said
Hester Hood dated the sixth day of April eighteen hundred and
twenty six and was raised in Anne Arundel County
                            In Testimony that the whereof I have hereto set my
        (Seal)           hand and affixed the Seal of my office this twenty seventh
                            day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight
                            hundred and thirty two
