bargain and sell unto the said Benjamin Watkins his Executors ^administrators^ and assigns
all the goods hereinafter particularly mentioned that is to say one negroe woman
Nel aged about fifty four one negroe man Moses aged about thirty years one negroe
Woman Anna aged about thirty two and her two children named Elleorze
and Moses one the former aged about nine years and the latter about two years and
a negroe woman Harriett aged about twenty five also twenty shares of the
stock of the South River Bridge Company also all of my household stuff implements
and furniture of whatsoever kind it may consist.  To Have and To Hold all and
singular the said goods negroes household stuff and furniture and stock
aforesaid and other premises above bargained and sold or mentioned and
intended so to be to the said Benjamin Watkins his Executors administrators
and assigns forever and I the said Rachel H Watkins for myself my heirs
Executors and and administrators all and singular the said goods negroes
household stuff and furniture and other the premises unto the said Benjamin
Watkins his Executors administrators and assigns against me the said Rachel
H Watkins my Executors and administrators and against all and every other
person or persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and forever defend.  In
Witness whereof the said Rachel H Watkins has hereunto set her hand and
seal on this second day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight
hundred and forty six

in the presence of S. H Dorsett  Stephen Beard

       At the foot of the foregoing was thus written to wit

       State of Maryland Anne arundel County to wit

       Be it remembered that on this second day of February in the year of
our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty six before me the Subscriber
a justice of the peace of the State of maryland in and for said County personally
appeared Rachel H Watkins she being known to me of my own knowledge
to be the identical person named and described as and professing the party
grantor in the aforegoing instrument of writing and acknowledged the same
to be her act and Deed

Recorded the 4.th day of February 1846                     S. H. Dorsett
