Jones Lewis Sutton Sr At the foot of the foregoing was thus written to wit State of Maryland A. A. Ct to wit Be it remembered that on the 23.rd day of December 1845 before me one of the Justices of the peace in and for the State and County aforesaid appeared John T. Starlings and Francis M. Starlings and acknowledged the foregoing instrument of writing to be their act and deed according to the true intent and meaning of the same and the acts of Assembly in such cases as made and provided and according to the true meaning and intention hereof as collateral security for the said Thornton F. Robinson & George H Wood to indemnify them as said John T. Starlings Securities to maintain the peace towards George D Lyles & all other good citizens of the said State Acknowledged before Recorded the 6.th day of January 1846 Lewis Sutton Sr costs 95 cts
various articles of personal property household and kitchen furniture now in the house occupied by the said William S. Green and Matilda his wife in Annapolis were purchased by means derived from the patrimonial estate or given to her for her advancement and whereas the said Matilda for the support of herself and family is now carrying on in said house the occupation and business of a boarding house and thereby earns and expects to earn future profits by her personal labour care and diligence now in consideration of the premises aforesaid the said William S. Green and Matilda his wife hath given granted bargained and sold and by these presents doth give grant bargain and sell unto the said Robert Bowie all and singular the personal property household and kichen furniture abovementioned and all such personal property as may hereafter be purchased for the said Matilda out of her patrimonial estate or the interest or profits hereof or by the earnings of her labour and care as aforesaid or acquired in any other mode for her personal or seperate use and particularly any and every estate and interest acquired by or thereon with means derived from her patrimony |
