of Maryland for and in consideration of the sum of nine hundred dollars to me
in hand paid by Israel Griffith & W.m H. Harrison of the City of Baltimore and
State aforesaid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt
whereof I do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained and sold and by these
presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said Israel Griffith & W.m H. Harrison
the following property to wit one mahogany counter one pine counter
three cases two stoves one writing desk and all of my cloths cassimeres & vestings
now in my possession all which property so as aforesaid described and
above bargained and sold I do hereby warrant and defend by these presents
and declare the same to be the right and estate of the said Israel Griffith
& W.m H. Harrison according to the purport true intent and meaning thereof
In Testimony whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed
my seal this twenty ninth day of December 1845

    At the foot of the foregoing was thus written to wit

    Maryland Sct.  On this twenty ninth day of December 1845 personally
appeared William Bryan party grantor above named before me the
subscriber a justice of the peace in and for Anne Arundel County and state
aforesaid and acknowledged the same to be his act and deed according
to the purport true intent and meaning thereof and I do certify that
the said William Bryan is the identical person signing the within
instrument of writing

Bill of sale from John H Weaver to
Michael C. Sparrow dated the 30.th
day of December 1845
    Know all men by these presents
that I John H Weaver of Anne
Arundel County for and in consideration
of my being indebted
to Michael C. Sparrow of said County in the sum of thirty dollars & eighty
four cents and also in consideration of his agreeing to pay Machall &
Roberts about eighteen dollars for me and also in consideration of the
sum of one dollar in hand paid at or before the sealing of these presents
the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained
and sold and do by these presents grant bargain and sell unto the
said Michael C. Sparrow his executors administrators or assigns my
mare Fully now in my possession.  To Have and To Hold the said described
mare above bargained and sold to the said Michael C. Sparrow his
executors administrators or assigns and I the said John H Weaver
for myself my executors and administrators shall and will warrant
