78 consideration of the premises and the sum of one dollar current money to him in hand paid by the said Thomas J. Hall at or before the sealing and delivering of these presents the receipt whereof the said John Miller doth hereby acknowledge by these presents hath granted bargained and sold unto the said Thomas J. Hall his executors administrators and assigns twelve Hhds of Crop Tobacco now hanging in five houses on the farm the said John Miller called Millersville in Anne Arundel County To Have and To Hold all and singular the said twelve Hhds of tobacco unto the said Thomas J. Hall his executors administrators and assigns forever. Whereas the said John Miller stands justly indebted to the said Charles Waters in the full and just sum of seven thousand dollars current money and to secure the payment thereof is willing to execute these presents. Now this Indenture Witnesseth that the said John Miller for and in consideration of the premises and of the sum of one dollar current money to him in hand paid by the said Charles Waters at or before the sealing and delivering of these presents the receipt whereof the said John Miller doth hereby acknowledge by these presents hath granted bargained and sold and by these presents doth grant bargain and sell unto the said Charles Waters his executors administrators and assigns the balance of his crop of Tobacco now hanging in five houses on the farm of the said John MIller called Millersville in Anne Arundel County. To Have and To Hold all and singular the said balance of Crop of Tobacco unto the said Charles Waters his executors administrators and assigns to the only proper use and behoof of the said Charles Waters his Executors administrators and assigns for ever. Provided always and these presents are upon this condition that if the said John Miller his executors or administrators shall and do well and and truly pay or cause to be paid unto the said Thomas J. Hall and Charles Waters their executors administrators or assigns the full and just sum of seven thousand five hundred dollars current money with interest for the same on or before the tenth day of October eighteen hundred and forty six then and in such case these presents and every matter and thing herein contained shall cease determine and be null and void to all intents purposes anything herein contained to the contrary thereof in anywise notwithstanding.
