administrators.  In Witness whereof the said Gassaway Watkins
hereunto sets his hand and seal the day and year first above written

    Anne Arundel County to wit
Be it remembered and it is hereby certified that on this 27.th day of
October in the year eighteen hundred and forty five before me a justice
of the peace in and for said County of the State of Maryland personally
appears Gassaway Watkins and acknowledges the above instrument
of writing to be his act and deed the said Gassaway Watkins being also
known to me to be the person named and described as and professing
to be the party grantor mentioned therein.  Witness my hand on the
day and year aforesaid                                    John E Stalker

Deed from Thomas G. Pratt & others
to Thomas S. Alexander of certain
personal property dated the first
day of November eighteen hundred and
forty five
Whereas Richard Swann of
the City of Annapolis by his
deed dated on the eighteenth
day of April in the year
eighteen hundred and forty two
and recorded in Liber No folio
173 one of the personal deed record books of Anne Arundel County
granted and conveyed unto certain Robert W. Kent and Basil
Sheppard a negro boy Jim and all his undivided household furniture
in order to provide for payment of certain debts due and owing
from the said Richard Swann as in said deed is particularly
mentioned Now know all men by these presents that we Thomas G. Pratt
and Thomas R. Kent of Anne Arundel County administrators of
the said Robert W. Kent deceased and basil Sheppard for and in
consideration of the sum of eight hundred dollars current money
to me in hand paid by Thomas S. Alexander of the City of Baltimore
at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents and the receipt
is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained and sold and by
these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said Thomas
S. Alexander his executors administrators and assigns all the
household furniture which was granted and conveyed by the Deed
aforesaid.  To Have and To Hold said household furniture unto and to
the use of the said Thomas S. Alexander his executors administrators
and assigns in trust nevertheless for the sole and seperate use
of Ann H Swann the wife of the said Richard Swann to her subject
to her exclusive contract and disposition during her life
without the controul of her present or any future husband and
