55 all costs charges payments and liabilities by reason of his signing the said bond as one of the sureties as aforesaid then and in such case these presents and every matter and thing therein contained shall cease determine and be utterly void any thing herein contained to the contrary notwithstanding. In Testimony whereof the said Henry Wilson hereunto signs his name and affixes his seal the day and year first aforesaid mentioned In presence of of Saml Gott Henry Wilson (seal) At the foot of the foregoing was thus written to wit State of Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit Be it remembered and it is hereby certified that on this 23.rd day of July in the year eighteen hundred and forty five before the Subscriber a justice of the peace of the State of Maryland in and for the County aforesaid personally appeared Henry Wilson he being known to me to be person who is named and described as professing to be the party to the foregoing deed or instrument of writing and acknowledges the same to be his act and deed. George Mcculloh William Mcculloh and Hiram Mcculloh of the other part. Whereas the said Passmore Mcculloh owes and stands justly indebted to the parties of the second part to these presents in the full and just sum of three thousand six hundred dollars current money and being anxious further to secure the same has agreed to execute these presents. And whereas John Roads of the County and State aforesaid on the second day of August eighteen hundred and forty five did by his deed of mortgage of that date for the consideration of the sum of two hundred and twenty dollars and fifty cents current money grant bargain and sell and convey unto him the said Passmore Mcculloh his Executors administrators and assigns all and singular the goods and chattels therein after named to wit all his interest in the crop of tobacco made last year at the farm on which he resided called the Half way House and also all his interest in the crop now growing in said farm |
