to be the true intent and meaning of these presents that
if the said James R. Jackson shall well and truly pay
or cause to be paid over to the proper parties all the monies
collected by him as Constable on account of business placed
in his hands during said year as above named and shall
secure said Henry M. Leitch and Richard R Miles their
heirs executors or administrators from any suit loss or
damage by reason of their suretyship as aforesaid then
and in such case these presents and every matter and thing
herein contained shall cease determine be utterly void
to all intents and purposes anything herein contained to
the contrary notwithstanding.  In Witness whereof the said
James R. Jackson hath hereunto set his hand & seal on the
day and year first above written
Signed Sealed and delivered              J. R. Jackson   (seal)
    in presence of Robt S. D. Jones

          At the foot of the foregoing was thus written to wit

State of Maryland Anne Arundel County Sct

Be it remembered and it is hereby certified that on the
ninth day of June 1851 before the Subscriber a justice of
the peace in and for said State and County personally
appeared James R. Jackson he being known to me to be
the person who is named and described as and professing to
be a party to the foregoing Indenture and doth acknowledge
the said instrument of writing to be his act and deed
and at the same time also personally appears Henry M
Leitch and Richard R Miles party grantees they being
known to me to be the same and make oath on the Holy
Evangely of Almighty God that the consideration
set forth in the foregoing indenture or instrument
of writing is true and bona fide as therein expressed

    In Testimony whereof I hereunto subscribe my
name on the day and year aforesaid
