I hereby certify.  That D. C. H. Bordly Esquire before whom
the annexed acknowledgment and affidavit was made
and who has thereto subscribed his name was at the time of
so doing a justice of the peace of the State of Maryland in
and for the City of Baltimore duly commissioned and sworn
    (seal)      In Testimony whereof I hereto set my hand and
                affix the seal of Baltimore County Court this tenth

This Indenture made this ninth
day of June in the year of our Lord
eighteen hundred and fifty one
between James R. Jackson of Anne
Arundel County in the State of
Maryland of the one part and Henry M. Leitch
and Richard R Miles of the County and State
aforesaid of the other part.  Whereas the said Henry
M. Leitch and Richard R Miles are the sureties for
the said James R. Jackson on a Constable's bond for the
year eighteen hundred and fifty and in order to save
them from any loss or damage by reason of said suretyship
the said James R. Jackson is willing to execute these
presents.  Now this Indenture witnesseth that
the said James R. Jackson for and in consideration
of the premises and of the sum of one dollar current
money to him in hand paid by the said Henry M
Leitch and Richard R Miles at and before the
sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained
and sold and by these presents doth grant bargain
and sell unto the said Henry M. Leitch and Richard R.
Miles their executors administrators and assigns one sorrel
Horse supposed to be about nine years of age.   To Have and To
Hold the said Sorrel Horse unto the said Henry M. Leitch and
Richard R Miles their executors administrators and assigns
to their own use and behoof.  Provided always and it is declared
