478 have any children or increase during that time they shall respectively serve as follows viz if males until they shall arrive at the age of thirty nine years and if females to serve to the age of thirty five years. Which said slave Maranda and her issue or increase should she have any as aforesaid I will warrant and defend to the said Joab Smith his executors administrators and assigns against me my Executors and administrators and each and every of them and against every other person or persons whatsoever In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my name and affixed my seal this fourteenth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty one Signed Sealed and delivered his in the presense of A. Phelps Samuel x Chaney (seal) mark At the foot of the aforegoing was thus written to wit On the fourteenth day of May eighteen hundred and fifty one appeared before me one of the justices of the peace in and for the said County Samuel Chaney and acknowledged the within and foregoing bill of sale or instrument of writing to be his act and deed according to the true intent and meaning thereof and the act of Assembly in such case made and provided.
