hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal, on the
day and year first above written
Signed, sealed and delivered in the presence   W. H. Dorsey   (Seal)
of                  W.m Hawkins

State of Maryland, Anne Arundel County, to wit:  Be it remembered,
and it is hereby certified that on this first day of
May, eighteen hundred and fifty one, before the Subscriber, a
Justice of the Peace of the State of Maryland, in and for Anne
Arundel County aforesaid, personally appears William H. Dorsey,
he being known to us, to be the person named and described
as, and professing to be a party to the foregoing Indenture, and
doth acknowledge the said deed, Indenture, or Instrument of
Writing, to be his act and deed.  In testimony whereof I hereunto
subscribe my name, on the day and year aforesaid.

State of Maryland, Anne Arundel County, to wit:  Be it remembered,
and it is hereby certified, that Thomas Donaldson the grantee in
the mortgage and bill of sale aforegoing, personally appeared before
the subscriber, a Justice of the Peace of the State of Maryland, in
and for the said Anne Arundel County on this second day
of May, eighteen hundred and fifty one, and made oath on the
Holy Evangely of Almighty God, that the consideration in said
mortgage, and bill of sale set forth is true and bonafide as
therein set forth.  Sworn before me
                                                 Edward Dubois J. P.

Anne Arundel County, to wit:  I certify that the grantee this day
paid one dollar, being the duty chargeable by Law on this Instrument
of Writing, the receipt whereof is hereon endorsed, agreeably to the
Act of Assembly of December Session 1846, chapter 61.  Given under my
hand this 3.rd day of May Anno Domini 1851
