Joseph G. Harrison of Anne Arundel County, Maryland to
save until she is twenty years of age, and no longer, than
to the 12th of August 1863.  To Have and To Hold the said
negro man Titus, and girl Sarah, a slave as bargained
and sold, or intended so to be to the said James W. Allen
his executors, administrators and assigns for the term as
above described.  In witness whereof the said Robert Plummer,
and the said James W. Allen have hereto subscribed their
names and affixed their seals, this 25.th day of January,
in the year, eighteen hundred and fifty one

Maryland, Anne Arundel County to wit:  Be it remembered
that on this 25.th day of January 1851, personally appeared
before me the subscriber, a Justice of the peace of the State
of Maryland for Anne Arundel County James W. Allen
and Robert Plummer, and acknowledged the foregoing deed
or Instrument of Writing to be their act and deed, and the
negroes, man Titus and girl Sarah therein named to be the
right and estate of the said James W. Allen, grantee therein
named, according to the purport, true intent, and meaning
thereof, and I certify that the said James W. Allen, and
Robert Plummer are known to me as the identical
persons named as purchaser and grantor in said deed or
instrument of writing

Anne Arundel County, to wit:  I certify that the grantee this
day paid one dollar being the duty chargeable by Law on
this Instrument of Writing, the receipt whereof is hereon
endorsed agreeably to the Act of Assembly of December
Session 1846 Chapter 61.  Given under my hand this
7.th day of February 1851
