the aforesaid negroes Sarah Ann and Richard to the said Edward
Taylor, free negro man, his Executors, Administrators and Assigns,
against me the said Sarah Wells, my Executors, Administrators,
and Assigns, and against all and every person and persons
whomsoever, shall and will warrant and forever defend
by these presents.  In witness whereof, I the said Sarah Wells,
have hereto set my hand and affixed my seal the twenty sixth
day of December 1850                           her

At the same time personally appeared Edward Taylor and
made oath before me the subscriber a Justice of the Peace, that
the above bill of sale was given for an actual and bonafide
debt

Anne Arundel County, to wit:  Be it remembered and it is
hereby certified that on the 26.th day of December 1850 before the
Subscriber a Justice of the Peace personally appears Sarah Wells,
being known to me to be a party, to the foregoing Indenture
or Instrument of Writing, and acknowledges the said
Indenture or Instrument of Writing to be her act and deed
       In testimony whereof, I subscribe my name on the
day and year aforesaid

This Indenture made this thirteenth
day of November, in the year eighteen
hundred and fifty between Patrick
McLaughlin, Administrators de bonis non of Basil Waller, late
of Baltimore City, in the State of Maryland of the first part,
and William Williams of Anne Arundel County, in the State
aforesaid of the second part.  Whereas on the fifth day of May
in the year eighteen hundred and forty nine, the Orphan's
Court for Baltimore County, granted to said McLaughlin
letters of Administration de bonis non, on the Estate of said
Waller, and on twentieth day of November, in the year, eighteen
hundred and fifty, passed an order, directing said Administrator
to sell the personal estate of said deceased, on the terms in said
order prescribed.  And whereas the said William Williams
