and described as and professing to be the party, grantor
in the foregoing Instrument of Writing, and acknowledged
the same to be his act and deed.  And at the same time
also appeared the within named Frank H. Stockett, grantee
in said Instrument of Writing, and made oath that
the consideration therein set forth is true and bonafide
as therein set forth      Acknowledged before

Anne Arundel County, to wit; I certify that the grantee
this day paid one dollar being the duty chargeable by
law on this Instrument of Writing the receipt whereof is
hereon endorsed, agreeably to the Act of Assembly of December
Session 1846 chapter 61.  Given under my hand this
22.nd day of November 1850

John Iglehart
      to
Eliza Iglehart
Know all men by these presents, that I, John
Iglehart of Anne Arundel County in consideration
of the maternal love and affection, which I have, and bear unto
Eliza Iglehart of the City of Annapolis, wife of my son James H.
Iglehart, and also for divers other causes and considerations,
have given, granted and confirmed, and by these presents do give,
grant and confirm, unto the said Eliza Iglehart, her
Executors, Administrators and Assigns, the following negro slaves,
to wit; negro woman Priss; negro girl Charlotte; negro boy Jim;
which said negroes were sold to me by the said James H. Iglehart.
To have and To hold the said negroes unto her the said Eliza
Iglehart, her Executors, Administrators and Assigns forever, which
said negroes I the said John Iglehart, have put the said Eliza Iglehart,
in full possession of, by delivering them to her, at the time of
sealing and delivering them to her, at the time of
sealing and delivering these presents.  In witness whereof, I hereto
set my hand and seal this 30.th day of October 1850

in presence of   R. C. Hardesty

State of Maryland, Anne Arundel County to wit.  On this 30.th
day of October 1850 personally appeared John Iglehart, before the
Subscriber a Justice of the Peace of the State of Maryland, in and
for said County, and acknowledged the foregoing Instrument of
Writing to be his act and deed         Acknowledged before
